听写三步骤
第一步 泛听，可辅助填空
听写方法：
完整的听一遍所有内容，对听写内容有大概的了解，并且抓住了一些核心词汇，为等一下的听写初步减轻难度。
* 填空式的泛听练习只是一种练习形式，能让同学们在泛听时有重点的集中注意力。如果觉得看了文本对后续精听有影响，同学也可采取直接泛听而不看文本的方式。

第二步 精听全文，记忆生词
听写方法：
精听是以每个单句或意群为单位，一句一句的听，暂停后写。比如4.11听写内容中hang on a minute，听到这里可以点击暂停并写下这句。精听需注意的是：
1. 边听边写。如果听完却没有写完，也没有记住漏掉的单词，那么返回去重听，补充漏掉的词。
2. 如果一句话反复听了五遍还是没有听出来一些单词，做好标记，放弃。继续听下面。

1、undergrad
/ˌʌndəˈɡræd◂ $ -ər-/ n.（在校）本科生
undergraduate与graduate区别
（1）指代不同
graduate指毕业生，undergraduate指本科生。
（2）用法不同
graduate在美式英语中可指任何学校的毕业生，在英式英语中只指大学毕业生，尤指学士学位获得者。
undergraduate指普通高等教育本科层次的在校生、毕业生，区别于预科、专科，学生毕业后可获得学士学位。
（3）侧重点不同
graduate表示获得学位，大部分情况下是毕业的意思；undergraduate则是未获得学士学位的大学生。
2、nor
/nɔː $ nɔːr/ conj./adv.也不
（1）做连词时，用在固定搭配“neither…nor…”中。
例句：He has neither talent nor the desire to learn.
他既没天分，也不愿学习。
He wasn’t there neither on Monday nor Tuesday.
他周一和周二都不在。
（2）做连词时，用于否定句之后，引导另一层相似意义的否定句。
例：I don’t expect children to be rude, nor do I expect to be disobeyed.
我不希望孩子们没礼貌，也不希望他们不听我的话。
He can’t see, nor could he hear until a month ago.
他既看不见，一个月前还听不见了。
（3）如果nor后面的句子和前面句子的内容相同，相同部分可以省略。
例：He doesn’t want to go there, and nor do I want to go there.
= He doesn’t want to go there, and nor do I.
他不想去那儿，我也不想去。
3、epiphany
/ɪˈpɪfəni/ n.顿悟,灵光一现
Epiphany n.主显节
例句：In that moment, I had an epiphany.
那一刻，我顿悟了。
4、halfway through (something)
某事/某时段的中途
例句：We left halfway through the movie.
电影看了一半我们就走了。
5、sophomore
/ˈsɒfəmɔː $ ˈsɑːfəmɔːr/
n. （大学或高中的）二年级学生
adj.一知半解的，肤浅的
freshman（大一新生）
junior（大三学生）
senior（大四学生）
graduate（毕业生）
undergraduate（大学生）

第三步 认真校对，查缺补漏
听写方法：
完成今天的任务了么？不！千万不要丢掉极其重要的一步：校对！
有两个方面要校对：
1.没有听出来的意群：可能包括连读或者省音,分析错误的原因并做笔记。
2.没有听出来或听错的单词:每篇校对后写在听写笔记下面并罗列,这些才是你每天的进步之基。

I came here in 1992, and started off as computer science concentrator, andthen I had a mini epiphany halfway through my sophomore year.
